BLAŽ BERTONCELJSociologist, Yoga Teacher, Teacher of Traditional Thai Massage. Founder and manager of the Devi Yoga Centre.A calm and interesting approach as well as systematic practice and demonstration are only a few qualities one can sense at the first meeting with Blaž Bertoncelj. He came into contact with yoga in 1990 and started teaching in 1998, becoming one of the few professional yoga teachers in Slovenia. Due to his interdisciplinary knowledge and experience, his view and concept of yoga are very broad. In addition to teaching yoga and managing the Yoga Devi Centre, he also teaches meditation and Thai massage, leads yoga and stress management seminars and provides professional training to future yoga teachers. Besides the education received in the US (Ananda Yoga teacher training), Europe (organized by the Italian Association of Yoga) and at numerous seminars, he has also spent 6 months studying in Asia (India and Thailand). So far, his courses and lectures have been visited by over 2000 people, learning that an individual is part of a greater reality accessible through yoga practice. |

DUNJA BERTONCELJNurse, yoga and meditation teacher
Graduated at High School for medical nurses and finished a postgraduate study of pedopshychiatry at the Medical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana. She finished 4 years of study of esoterical program at the Spiritual University in Ljubljana. She worked many years in the field of alternative healing as a prana-therapists at the Essentia Institute. She also finished a one year Yoga teacher training program, led workshops for healthy living and wrote articles and lectured at complementary healing seminars. Yoga has been a part of her life for 16 years, she has been initiated into kriya yoga at Ananda Assisi in Italy where she spreads her knowledge of Yoga by frequent visits.She leads courses in meditation, raja and hatha Yoga and lectures at the Devi Yoga Teacher training program. The decision to become a Yoga and meditation teacher was made due to extremely good results of regular practice in the condition of her own body and the healing of a chronical disease. Through meditation she has received many deep insights into who we are and were we are destined to go. She wishes to share these experiences with others.

BARBARA JUDEŽPre-school teacherHas been practicing Yoga since 2002. Years of experience in teaching children under school age and knowing the tradition of Yoga, it is her wish to apply Yoga to children through our program Yoga for children. Barbara is also tai massage therapist.

SIMONA ŽITNIKMD - PaediatricianShe specialises in the treatment of children with allergic and rheumatic ailments. She has been practicing yoga since 2000. In 2005, she finished a one-year yoga teaching course as she also wishes to share her yoga knowledge with others, having realised through her experience the therapeutic effects of yoga on one’s psychophysical state and health.

NATAŠA ERKERHigh School GraduateYoga is her way of life. She has been practicing it for more than twenty years and teaching it since 2002. Her manner of teaching reflects her trust in tradition and a lifetime of personal experience. She has finished a one-year yoga teaching course.

NATAŠA KRIŽMAN DOVČWork Organizer – Personnel Service EmployeeSince she considers people to be much more than numbers on papers, she has always been looking for ways to share her life purpose with others. She has found her audiences and people with the same views on courses of dance, aerobics, Thai massage and also yoga, which has become her life principle. In order for her to perform her life mission in the best way possible, she is receiving her education at the Italian international yoga school ISFY (Federazione Italiana Yoga).

NUŠA ROMIH MASNOGLAVTeacher of Sports Education and Special Sports EducationAfter her graduation, this once successful alpinist and sports climber was employed at the Youth Climatic Health Resort in Rakitna, where she worked for ten years. Apart from the sports activities and creative workshops, she also led breathing exercises. She began to practice yoga at a very early age. Since 2002, she has been studying the Feldenkrais method (awareness through movement and functional integration). As the first Slovenian, has been receiving her education on a four-year Feldenkrais method course in Austria.
